How to Get Your Figma Token

To use ZipFigma, you'll need a personal access token from Figma. It takes less than 30 seconds and gives you full control over your design data — without logging in anywhere.

Follow these steps:

  1. 1

    Login to your Figma account.

  2. 2

From the file browser, click the account menu in the top-left corner and select Settings.

  3. 3

    Select the Security tab.

  4. 4

In the Personal access tokens section, click Generate new token to open the configuration modal.

  5. 5

Set the token's expiration and check the required scopes listed below.

  6. 6

Click Generate token. This is your only chance to copy the token — make sure to save it securely.

  7. 7

Paste your token into the ZipFigma homepage to begin exporting your data.

Projects

🔍 How to Find Your Figma Team ID

  1. 1

Log in to your Figma account and navigate to a page with your team's projects.

  2. 2

Look at the URL in your browser's address bar. It should look something like:https://www.figma.com/files/team/123456789/Your-Team-Name

  3. 3

The number after /team/ is your team ID. In the example above, the team ID would be 123456789.

Tip: Your team ID is a numeric identifier that ZipFigma needs to access files from your specific Figma team.

🔐

Security Reminder:

Your token is like a password. Only paste it into tools you trust. ZipFigma is fully browser-based — your token is never sent to any server.
